it's amazing how Bush is never ever responsible or accountable for anything, ever. Chertoff sacked Brown for failures. Too late for NOLA.

The Mayor did all he could. He ordered an evacuation. The Mayor has very few assets under his control. The Governor declared a state of emergency, thereby ceding control of the emergency situation to the federal government.

Both the Mayor and the Governor were asking for help every day.

Brownie didn't even know that the city was flooded, or that thousands of people were stranded at the Superdome...even though these events were on the news.

Clearly the lion's share of the blame go to Bush and his former room mate and former municipal intern Brownie. When you add that resources in the state were taken away to Iraq, and that Bush cut the budget to repair levees...it's clear who's responsible....George W. Bush.
