You cut taxes and what do you always get? Yes that’s right - a ballooning deficit. It happened under Regan - now its worse with Bush. Tax cuts are not the problem. No meaningful cuts in federal spending is the real problem. Both sides are to blame for this and it is my biggest beef with President Bush. This government needs a balance budget amendment NOW!! What is so bad about paying tax? That is fine if it is to pay for the federal government spelled out in Article 1 section 8 of the Constitution. Do you really want to live in the sort of place New Orleans was last week? Hell no. A perfect example of the effects caused by socialistic policies. Most third world countries have ineffectual tax systems ie. no tax - I been to the third world - it sucks to live there. You socialists seem to forget that this country did very well throughout its history without a federal tax. The 16th amendment wasn't even created until 1913. Even then taxes were negligible until WWII. Free Enterprise built this country not taxes. Taxes hurt Free Enterprise. it strikes me as extremely selfish to argue against pay ones fair share of tax How authoritarian of you to dictate what people can do with THEIR money. So what is a person's "fair share"? Don't you really mean "From Each According To His Abilities, To Each According To His Needs." That is what you really want. Steal from the "have's" and give to the "have not's". You socialists are really noble with other peoples money...
