steve harris; <reminds me of the billions who were going to die because they claimed Bush screwed up the flu shots...> Just like the eventuality that a hurricane WOULD hit New Orleans, scientist say that the bird flu will make the jump to humans. It may not be this year - but it will come. If we are not prepared, millions (NOT BILLION) could conceivable die world wide. That's not a joke! .........What role should our government do to protect us? You decide. A President with vision looks forward, not backward. If we spend billions and billions on terrorist threats, why can't we do the same for natural disasters that will come? Isn't protecting of American people worth it? steve
