BC, I'm glad if this helped you stay on top of the game. A few months ago I became interested in the work of a cyclist by the name Mike Alexander. Read his book - "investing in a secular bear market". Not an easy read, but in the end he convinced me that there is a certain reality behind all those cycle theories. Some of his stuff is quite fascinating - trying to integrate several different types of cycles - generational, social, stock, Kondratiev, etc. - and deriving (presumed) predictive value from their interplay.
