FRE shareholders may be paying for FRE's generosity. Then again, I am not sure what they can do. It will be virtually impossible to determine who are severely damaged, somewhat damaged, slightly damaged or not too bad at all.

What if you do not have a HUD (FHA) or FRE loan? How many joe6pak borrower even know their loan has been sold to one of the GSEs? I am guessing that many would stop paying regardless of their circumstances.

So how many households are there in the FEMA areas?
