Bill just completed his training and got Red cross certification today. He's been told he'll be deployed on Wednesday-- where to, we don't yet know. He's emotionally wiped out by the training, which included extensive CPR and quasi-medical learning, is in bed. They've been told to expect "horrendous" conditions, to bring their own snacks and 2 days' worth of water, plus be aware they'll be camping. It's daunting for us both, but I'm extremely proud of the sacrifice he's making (not nearly as much as hundreds of thousands of others have "sacrificed" though.) I'll let you know how it goes.
