(I don't remember you posting any analysis of the codes.... I do remember you claiming they were adequate though.... Perhaps I should just take your word for it, Hugh?)


When I told you so. Fact is you want to believe MSM, not a professional engineer who helped rebuild his house, as well as the initial work to rebuild Homestead Air Force Base. The vast majority of homes had no code violations. Maybe 10% of them did, and of that many were not a factor in their destruction, or they just blew down a few seconds sooner. The storm was over 150 MPH in many places and the homes were designed for 120 MPH. Do the math.
