I was inspired by that count that someone posted to you, so not my idea. The MACD suggests a triangle certainly. On NDX it is truncated at the Aug 3 top, unless we go higher here as a C wave, which I doubt but then I am continuously surprised in the very short term. It is unorthodox as you said that the upper line of the triangle is angled whereas the standard textbook E-Wave ascending triangle has a flat top.

In Australia we are in the process of completing a 5th wave up from the 2003 bottom. The same would go for major European markets, so hard to be bullish in any of those unless the patterns extend. Some of these could run a bit more:

I was fooled earlier by Aus at the top of 1 of 5 that that was a B-Wave.

Asia - I don't have a good story here, though it could all be a corrective three?

Korea - if you look at a longer run chart it looks like it is breaking out of a multiyear triangle

Taiwan and Singapore:

Potential for massive B waves in those markets?

Canada - this looks highly bullish, unless it is a double zigzag?

Very shortly we're likely going to see what's what with this big SPX rising wedge on the weeklies. If that ultra-bearish count is in play then the SPX likely has 50 points of upside which includes a throwover. It sure ties in well with the SOX count we have been tracking.

For now I am still looking up, but I am keenly aware of that potential ED.
