"It should not only be frozen,"

The accounts are....

"it should be returned"

After a trial determines violation of law... and they figure out who to 'return the money to'.

"and the US should not give one more penny to the UN!"

Don't worry... we are already deeply in arrears with our dues.

"We have enough trouble here at home that DEMANDS our immediate attention and our MONEY."

True... with the hurricane aftermath looking to cost as much as the Iraq/Afghanistan war, my guess is that the American public will decide that a second half Trillion dollars added to the national debt for the 'Forever War' would likely be money down a rat hole... unlikely to achieve much, if anything, for our national goals, and they will move to rapidly curtail the further waste of resources in standing in the middle of the Iraqi Civil War... mostly helping the Iranians vis-a-vie their Sunni neighbors.

We knocked off the Dictator, gave the Shiites and Kurds of Iraq the opportunity to build a better future for themselves, so we will declare victory, and go home.

The American public never signed up for an endless war against insurgents in the heart of the Arab world, never signed up for the bottomless pit of nation building there, never signed up to stand between the sides with a big fat target painted on our backs.

We would be far better off if they were attacking each other, instead of our guys... settling their own affairs.
