Rove is running scared now. He should be if he's not.

Cheney is out of his fox hole. Doing things he's previously been afraid to do.

Bush too is trying to be human. Doing things he's not comfortable w/ doing.

the president is not capable of understanding that other people have needs. (He wanted to be baseball commisssioner for chrissake.) He's too used to trying to capitalize on the moment and i think ultimately that will be his down fall.

He needs to step back and just let this settle now. The hardest thing for them to do right now is to step back and literally go in to hiding. But i think thats what bush and co need to do. Let the anger and everything work itself out. People r going to be angry for along time.

The more Bush and co stand in the lime light and throw blame around the more blame they r going to have thrown back at them.

Brilliant acts of compassion arise when people just step back and do things behind the scenes. Let it settle and don't stand up and defend your position at every turn. Thats one thing these guys have never done up until now.

I dunno. Blaming saddam is what they do best. IT's their typical MO. But trying that one w/ this tragedy i think will blow up in their face. Literally.
