I like "fair and equitable" too. Re: "...laws that have a real purpose." As my post explains, the result of such laws will be to harm the poor. Re: "to be honest....this is what should have been done with the people in NYC on a more logical level with those wages almost TRIPLING those that are more common down there." By this I take it to mean that in NYC wages should have been allowed to fall instead of being held up by decree, rather than in N.O., as seems will be the case. I submit that it logically is a good idea in both places. I'd also note for the record that living in NYC is expensive, so I think preferring NYC for this may well be illogical, given your only reason. Dan B
