Sounds nice, but shows no indication that you've understood realities such as illustrated by my post. I like "fair and equitable" too.

By this I take it to mean that in NYC wages should have been allowed to fall instead of being held up by decree, rather than in N.O., as seems will be the case. I submit that it logically is a good idea in both places. I'd also note for the record that living in NYC is expensive, so I think preferring NYC for this may well be illogical, given your only reason.
