Wonder if they pay attention to any details?....Time sure didn't even in the first sentence....

President bush was seated in the white house situation Room,...

bush is a Proper Noun, and should be Bush....

white house - again a Proper Noun and should be White House
situation - describes the name of a room in the White House, so should be capitalized and be Situation Room....

Time did get the words "was seated in the" correct. Surprise.

And something else: This type of comment seems to run through both Time and Newsweek.....maybe the writers can't do basic math. Maybe they don't want to think that there is 3 years and 4 months left in this "Bush era".....

But as the Bush era begins to wane,.....

Does the media not know that many large corporations offer 3 to 4 weeks vacation to employees who have been there a few years, and some like Microsoft offer 5 weeks for a run of the mill employee who has been there for 11 years. Then maybe we should talk about Labor Union heads and vacations.

And Major Corporation heads...check out their vacation packages...

And maybe even Major Media heads and their vacation packages. How far out in left field is the media...? Plenty.

and BTW, notice they haven't said anything about Congress and all the time off Congress has, do they?

And one more observation. Tomorrow morning is the 2 WEEK anniversary of the day Katrina blew in. And it's been one week and 6 days tomorrow since the levees broke.

The NO Mayor now has a home in Texas, the buses he should have sent are still sitting there, the city is a filthy swamp, and the Governor is STILL no where in sight.
