I would start by opening outlook and in the upper right hand corner where it says "type a question for help" and type in autoarchive.

There is very good easy to use information there..
you may have some conflicting settings between default and individual folder settings.

If this is of no help you may have to go to control panel, add/remove programs and then Microsoft office and click on the change button and do a repair install from there.
