Nothing. Covad is not considered a significant voip provider, nor is it considered much of a data or Wireless provider. This company has yet to define itself and might not ever do so. Management is simply lost as what to do.

I want answers to real questions.

I am no expert
1. bring additional public attention to Voip (good)
2. most skype users (poss. More European the Americans) are there for the FREE service. I use it for both its free (computers 2 computer) and paid (discounted fees for my over sea calls computer 2 phone…… I acutely cancelled my long distance line from cox). I think the core users are young with minimal disposable income (i.e. are there while its free). I don’t think they are servicing business.
3. as a reality check it shows that the big boys are hedging big $ on voip and it might bring along new bids to small upstarts.

my 5 cents
