I don't know... I think it depends on the people. Right now the memories are dominated by the disaster... as time passes, people will remember the good times... it's just human nature.

Have to confess I don't know. I seldom read the local paper <guilt>. I did spend a morning a week ago in the emergency room (I fell off a ladder, what an idiot!), and they said they were expecting 60 patients from NO, but they never showed up. (Judging by how long it took for them to x-ray my sprained ankle, I imagine it would have taken them 2 weeks to process the 60 refugees).
