I've got kind of a two tier strategy, subject to change based on market conditions of course <ggg>. I tend to trade larger blocks of liquid issues once or twice daily, sometimes sit things out if I don't seem in tune with things. I also have some cash set aside for longer term trades of several weeks to several months. That is used when I think a quality issue has been beaten up to a degree where I have a good chance for a fairly rapid significant percentage gain. A good example would be when Nokia last hit 11 bucks, down from 24 when they were losing market share. I was fortunate enough to pick up a block very close to this low and see it rise to the 17 level in short order...

Best regards,
John
