If we wouldn't have wasted $300 billion on fighting an illegal war...we could have full employment here at home. Building useful infrastructure like levees, roads, bridges and alternative energy projects.

But instead we enrich Halliburton and Carlyle while you're indignant about paying a decent wage for a decent days work.

The argument is baseless. Very little construction is done with shovels and wheelbarrows today. It is too labor intensive, slow and costly. That is why bobcats are the norm on job sites.
