GWB would easily beat both Dole and Dukakis. Even Kerry, as listless and unfocused as he was, would beat Dukakis. American Spirit is the one suffering for a Kerry fix. As far as I am concerned, Kerry is now, and shall remain, a minor historical footnote, free to occupy his Senate seat for as long as he wants it. There were two very interesting things about Zogby's poll. First, Bill Clinton would beat GWB by only two points. Secondly, Reagan would beat GWB by 39 points. That tells me that politically we remain a very conservative nation.
