There is a leadership grid that the Army has used for years - there are only two axis to it...smarts and energy

High Smarts and High Energy - ok but they can exhaust the organization and create too much dependence on them

Low Smarts and High Energy - ineffective in the long run - creates the illusion that things are happening

High Smarts and Medium Energy - turns out, they make great leaders...create a directional framework and context for organization and delegates effectively.

Low Smarts and Low Energy - the most ineffective and sometimes dangerous leader for an organization.

Young Bushy is clearly in the lower right quadrant
