Russ, I don't follow the credit cards but I know they publish master trust data monthly.

Unfortunately, I think it takes either a lot of work, or someone who has been following this sector to tell us what the trends are.

Aug 04 Budget Deficit = $41.13B

Katrina could impact the Sept 05 numbers another $50B, so budget deficit for 2005 likely to be comparable to 2004.
