This was my second Dave concert.

First was Labor Day 2004, as we headed into the Presidential election.

I was concerned the first time that he'd try to politicize the concert, and was pleased to see that he doesn't mix his music and politics. He did take part in political concert, but that was billed as such. His regular tours, you don't get the politics, just music.

The only political "comment" at this year's concert was when he wove into a song the melody and some words from the old Buffalo Springfield song, "Hey What's That Sound, Everyone Look What's Going Down."
