That doesn't make sense. Lower spending implies a slower economy - deflationary. Contractions in imports - imply lower spending and/or much higher exports; since we don't make anything it probably means the former - this is deflationary.

Lower Aggregate Demand will make debt-service more difficult. This will lead to defaults and firesale of assets.

This is also not inflationary.
