I don't think you should be so hard on Bush.

Very few presidents can claim to have left such a clear imprint on:

1. The tax system.

2. The federal budget.

3. Foreign policy.

4. The army.

5. The National Guard.

6. FEMA.

It's true that he seems a total failure at his major project, changing Social Security, and hasn't done a whole lot to the Supreme Court yet.

But give him time, for heaven's sake.

Rome was not ruined in a day.
