LBJ or Truman would not have sat out in California strumming a guitar while Americans were in peril because some advisor told them that the right box had not yet been checked on bureaucratic form.

Maybe not Truman but LBJ would have been at his ranch fishing, or holding his dog by its ears.

Well while mayor babble went on and on about the 10,000 dead that drown 4000 buses could have rescued 10,000 ten times over, The President's man Brown oversaw forces that rescued 32,000. It seems the death's may come in below 500. Thank you FEMA for saving thousands and thousands in a timely manner. Even with local idiots on the scene wasting valuable resources, the Feds with backup plans saved thousands and thousands. That's FEMA.
