First of all, there has been significant skepticism expressed about the validity of the report. Physicians in NO at the time report that they have tried to verify this incident and have been unable to. It may not have happened.

But these were critically ill patients (assuming the incident occurred), some on life support. How DO you evacuate all of them? Were there enough properly equipped ambulances in NO to do this? Remember, if someone is on a respirator, they can only be off it for a few minutes before death occurs.

There were thousands of perfectly well people left behind because they did not own a car and had no means of leaving. Meanwhile, they mayor b***hed about the Feds not sending in Greyhound busses to get them out while he failed to order city busses to do just that. The city busses ended up being destroyed by flood water.

But just how do you suggest that those docs get those patients out?
