People make comments like "they hold huge conventions to celebrate the fact that they don't pay any taxes." When they have no valid arguments.

Try not to be too literal, huh! Puerto Rico was established as a tax free haven to help U.S. drug companies compete with the rest of the world. This has allowed them to become fatter than the fat.

Talk to ANY doctor and he/she will tell you how they look forward to repeated invitations to gala dinners and events at the expense of the big pharmaceuticals. Back scratching at its finest.

So when I say "celebrate the fact that they don't pay any taxes" it simply means celebrate the fact that their stomach will never approach their spine. They are FAT CATS!
