He's been saying that it's settled law which merely means that it's precedent. That's obvious because it's on the books. Did he actually say that it shouldn't be overturned? If Dobson and Robertson and the other evil little toads (sorry toads) freak out tomorrow then I'll believe he meant it. Why didn't Rove tell the rightwing fanatics to complain a bit about Roberts? If they hadn't been so happy to have him nominated, the Dems probably wouldn't have paid much attention.
