Apparently you want to rip and burn "on the fly."
... done if you have a CD reader and a CD burner both mounted
... the best ripper and burner to produce errorless copies,
according to me and many others, is Exact Audio Copy (free).

Its appended below for others to use,
but you raised an interesting point for me.

"...do a lossless rip"

While ILCUL8R's recommendation seems to address that,
I have another angle in regards to "fullness" of a song.

We all know compression and reduced image quality are useful
to increase the speed of downloads. My glance at an article
on how these MP3 songs are stored tells me that a way to reduce
the size is to eliminate from the music certain areas that you as
a normal hearing user will not hear on the actual recording.

Something like a big booming drum is hit and hides a soft high sound,
so the high sound is taken off and not put onto the MP3.

Bottom Line: for normal hearing users

Seems that if your hearing is not the average determined by MP3
then a listen using an MP3 recording is quite different than using
what was them old vinal records, or CDs bought at the store.

All this downloadable music on the web seems to be less than original
if using the MP3 downloads.

I'm really not into music and don't even listen to songs and have
no music player, so I'm very much not one knowing this stuff.

As for not using a harddrive, as you and all readers on this board know,
those small USB memory stick are huge and cheap now and can
be inserted into a pc and function as extra harddrives.

ok, below the Google cut & paste mess
