You know, Bush didn't really accept the responsibility for the response to Katrina. The responsibility for the response was foisted on him by an angry public. He merely accepted the charge after it was made day, after day, after day, after day, after day, until it was apparent that he could no longer hide from the facts, that the gutted FEMA as part of the new bloated and inefficient Homeland Security Department couldn't respond to anything. If the terrorists are watching...and unfortunately they are...they're seeing that America is more vulnerable today than ever before...even Bush admitted that he doesn't know if we can respond to a terrorist attack.

Well what the heck...the best he can do is suspend Davis Bacon. Let em eat rice and beans...it's New Orleans. And we'll throw in the Tabasco sauce for free.
