Solar power a rapidly growing market-Barron's

Solar power, which America has been toying with for decades, has been attracting more attention lately due to soaring energy costs. However, investing in solar power is not easy because many of the companies involved with it are larger companies who are not pure plays, such as BP, RD, GE and Sharp. Some smaller US companies involved in solar power are CY, DSTI, ENER, ESLR, WFR and SPIR, but there are also more investment opportunities in other countries, most notably in Germany and Japan. Some analysts believe the best play on solar could be WFR, which they believe could jump another 50%.
