freerepublic.com I just called this number and spoke with Adam who is taking comments on the proposed Memorial. Superintendent Hanley is unavailable. Superintendent - Flight 93 National Memorial (814) 443-4557 He told me the name has been changed from 'Crescent of Embrace' to 'Circle of Embrace'....but he said it is a broken circle interruped by path of the plane's crash site. I said that just changing the name isn't the solution and that the offensive crescent symbol must be removed or modified. I asked if there will be public hearings before the Memorial plan is finalized. He was uncertain....but he said I could leave my name & address to be put on a list to receive written notice early in 2006 when the NPS's 'General Management' discusses the final plans.
