Your statements make no sense. Laura Bush's tragedy was handled under the law and she suffered the consequences thereof. Kennedy's case was handled under the Kennedy umbrella, and he received the benefit of his family's name, influence, and money. Laura Bush has atoned for her sins with an exemplary and admirable life. Kennedy's atonement is mixed at best. Both are in the past, so I suggest to you and to other parties in the discussion that you drop it now.

Soldiers from Kennedy's home state gave him "a piece of their mind," Pentagon officials told the Washington Times Bill Gertz and Rowan Scarborough. One official said that Kennedy "got a stiff reaction from those home-state soldiers. ... The troops down there expressed their disdain for that kind of commentary, especially comparisons to the gulag."
