Is is beginning to look like no one in charge actually knew what was in the National Response Plan. Or, if they did, they chose to disregard it. I suppose you can't really expect a political appointee with no experience to actually know what their job entails, but...

I suppose it would be pure partisanship to expect important posts to be held by competent people.

That same memo suggests that Chertoff may have been confused about his lead role in disaster response and that of his department.

Good. They are moving up the food chain. Each step brings them closer to Bush. Its time to show the American public how inept the governance is right up to the top.

In the meantime, all is quiet in the Dem. camp.....per usual.
