Your cartoon is a simplification of the issues of freedom of and speech and religion. It is as if to say if we just stop all the speech we don't like and ignore the other religions life would be good. Hear no evil, see no evil speak no evil. But it doesn't work that way. We have a responsibillity to be tolerant of differences. We have a responsibility to take care of ourselves and to help our fellow citizens when we can. We have a responsibility to not take more then we need from the govt (or as I would call it the group bank). I believe in a hand up not a hand out. If you want a world where the views of the few rule the many then you should move in with the taliban. jb
