The displaced students are staying in one of the buildings that used to house the Archdiocese of Boston. This property was purchased by Boston College after Cardinal Law was banished due to the pedophilia scandal. Anyway, the building is minutes from the BC campus and in the opposite direction minutes from a busy corner known as Cleveland Circle.

There is a well-known bar in Cleveland Circle which is frequented by BC students. There are also a couple of pizza joints, a movie theatre, and an eclectic array of late night stores there. In the past few years, some gangs have made their way over there to hang on the corner and mix with the college crowd. When Maryann's starts kicking people out at 1:00 AM, the drunkest ones are ripe for getting rolled. Especially the newbies.
