The oughta get serious and boost it to 45-50 mpg for 2007. GM and F will have a heart attack either way, the sooner we get up there, the better.

Official miles per gallon numbers are vastly overstated because they assume the best possible driving conditions according to the latest issue of CONSUMERS UNION.

Actual MPG usually is 15%-20% less than the "official" numbers.
