Butler always has some interesting speculations and makes good points, but always tinged with somewhat dubious assertions (e.g. it might be true that silver is tight in Europe, but that's not what the view of official silver market bodies is). also, it makes no sense to compare the above ground silver supply with the above ground gold supply (just as it makes no sense to say compare the copper supply to the gold supply. no-one would argue that because the visible copper supply amounts to only say three or four months of demand copper should be priced higher than gold).
anyway, no doubt the ETF is a bullish funnymental.
