The USA may get a recession as a result of Katrina and rising oil prices. Maybe not. Lots of Americans don't like to pay over $3.50 a gallon at the pump so they are curtailing their driving. Unemployment is pretty high in Germany and the stock market keeps on rising. Wonder why? Look at those PE ratios expand.

We live in a a very out of control bubblicious age, Fred. When one bubble bursts, another one comes into being. You got to be ahead of the bubble game, Dr. Trash. That's where philosophy comes into play. Life is coming into being and passing away, Fred. Just don't focus on the Trash, Fred. You need to focus on the rebirth of the next bubble too. Where the hoot do you think that hot bubblicious real estate money is going to go when that market begins to cool and/or fizzle out. Gold, equities, high tech.

Get positioned for the next wave up, Fred, the wave that most thought would happen in 2000, with the exception of a few Polar Bears, like yours truely.

But that was then. This is now. Utter Destruction prevailed from April 2000 to October 2002 in tech. But Nothing lasts forever. Time to recoup and rebuild. It's Bull Time moving forward. Don't look back. Look forward.

PS I'd hold those gold funds over the next week. New 52 week highs are a coming-even though we probably will get a little profit taking ahead of the weekend. The Boys will be back with a vengeance before September is out.
