You cant compare these countries.Brasil to be self sufficient in petroleum in the next year.Their agriculture is first world. They have commodities galore. They had deflation of .69% this last month and fed funds rates of 19.5%(apology to the board I lost a day---central bank dropped rates yesterday after the close 19.75% to 19.5%.)
I feel their Central Bank is dropping rates too slow but it is welcome compared with what Greenspan has done.It also gives one a bit more time to buy property there on the cheap.Hey Fraga could replace Greenspan!
