Hmm. Interesting. I don't know. I'll tell you my problem. If I had $10 or $20 million, I think I'd live a life of indolence as well. It probably would be a quieter, more dignified and humble life than Paris', but I wouldn't work.

In fact, my entire life's ambition has been to get to a point where I can have not just a comfortable retirement, but lead a life of world-traveling, city-hopping indolence with my wife. After 25 years of HARD work, I'm about 7-9 years from it. Frankly, I'd love to be able to pass on some of this wealth to my kids so that they can start a life of indolence sooner than I did! :)

Is that bad for me to hope for?

Fair enough, count on me as yet another supporter of Elroy's proposal.

I earned everything myself, may inherit something from my mother but hope that will not happen for a long time because she is a wonderful person.
And don't need that money either.

My kids have worked hard to get a great education and are perfectly capable of earning their own money and thus self confidence as well.
