The so-called liberal press hasn't bothered to include bush's comments, which I guess were not part of the official transcript. Most of the media hasn't covered this
Bush admits that he and his administration were wrong and they should have been there immediately.
I swore he was ready to announce his resignation when he made these comments. Maybe follow up with "I am obviously out of my league when it comes to real duties, and therefore will be resigning my office... "

"It is now clear that a challenge on this scale requires greater federal authority and a broader role for the armed forces, the institution of our government most capable of massive logistical operations on a moment's notice," Bush said.

..."Four years after the frightening experience of Sept. 11, Americans have every right to expect a more effective response in a time of emergency," he said. "When the federal government fails to meet such an obligation, I as president am responsible for the problem, and for the solution."
