Pay rates are higher in Oz, the climate is better, it's a positive place [they don't all wear black and a frown], there is a much bigger range of opportunity, the cities are bigger, they build dirty great roads and do it quickly.

Of course there are negatives, but a lot of people during their main earning years are interested in money coming in.

What matters is the numbers, not what they 'should' do. They are flying the coop in droves.

I don't know the tax structure of Oz, but believe tax rates are comparable. I don't know what "social network" means but the way of life is similar [being largely derived from British culture]. I can't imagine more ridiculous rules than we have here. Well, I can, but don't wish to.
