There was and is no dirty secret in the Catholic Church. All abuse of children including their murder is universally condemned by the Catholic church. That a church where the a major part of beliefs is forgiveness, that those in running the church could make ineffective decisions that led to other children being abused is sad, but not a dirty secret.

The Catholic Church teaches forgivness and that by definition is an unending reaching out for all who have hurt or been hurt for any reason. Even those who are repeat children murderers

Abortion is Murder is the ultimate child abuse. That is the dirty secret you still deny.

No, it's people like you, who are judgement averse who are the real problem.

That's a dirty secret. Women seeking to control their life is nothing to be ashamed of. It's judgemental people such as yourself that are the real example of what is shameful.

Shame on you for attacking a Church that has existed now for over 2,000 years and is THE Church founded by St. Peter. Sure, a church that huge has some bad apples, but I suspect no more then any other organization of any kind and likely far less percentage wise. Yes, the Church has MANY outreach groups to address any of the human frailities. Catholic Charities IMHO gives the best bang for the buck as salaries are minimal if any. jdn

Women seeking to control their life is nothing to be ashamed of.

Just another buzz word actually made up by a man who lied his way through the testimony in Roe v Wade.

WHat if a woman wants to "control their life" by committing suicide by driving over a cliff...oops...there happens to be three children in the back seat...oh well it is her own life, right???
