Ted, make a trip to FL and stay out a few evenings watching the sunset before claiming that the problem to be solved is not a major one :) For a change, how about telling more about your experience with Michel Thomas and learning German? I actually just listened to his Advanced German course together with my wife, just the first 2 out of the 4 CDs. I must admit it is quite good indeed. The guy is (was) a genius and his method works. So in particular with your academic background it should be a piece of cake to surprise your German buddies next time with being proficient in their language. Today is election day and hopefully my TV evening will give the enjoyment of seeing Gerhard Schröder and his socialists getting what they deserve. Taro
