Well, here it is confirmation at long last. It's already been posted on other boards but for those who haven't read it yet.

Google is building a massive private backbone network that will span the globe. Others will follow. The fiber boom is back again, albeit in a more muted form but my guess is Ebay will do the same. This is good news.

And, finally, JDS Uniphase (JDSU:Nasdaq - news - research - Cramer's Take) announced Friday it will seek shareholder approval to do a reverse stock split. Cramer called the move "brilliant" because with fewer shares outstanding, it will allow JDSU to show more meaningful earnings-per-share growth. Now, if only Lucent (LU:NYSE - news - research - Cramer's Take), another company with a high share count, would "do the same," he said.

I think they need more than a 10:1 reverse, personally. More like 20:1. But anyway, as we discussed here previously, they must at least be anticipating some kind of uptick because why reverse if you still have large losses.
