I was obvious from the beginning Blanco and Nagin's screaming in front of a camera was an attempt to cover bigger problems... This nonsense of Nagin's, trying to get people back into NOLA before they can even START to get facilities back up and running, is but one more example of local incompetence. This fantastic fellow that replaced Browie is saying, "Hey, wait a minute! Not so quick." And Nagin can't even come together with FEMA on THIS? Absolute stupidity. This is the guy who failed to have even a basic disaster plan, and now he's going to call people back before the city is even marginally ready? Absolute stupidity? After the Senator from Illinois suggested abandoning NO in the press? As mayor, I would have done the same thing. Nagin is telling people to reclaim their city before the 'compassionate' conservatives aka neocons take it away.
