"This thread had a genesis in the Old Boxing Ring. It was a bitter place of wide open fisticuffs and slug fests with no holds barred.

In looking back at some of my words to you, I see that I assumed that aggressiveness--mixed with a dash of insult! If you took it personal, I gladly take it back. If you did not, then no harm was done."

The subject is what we make of it. If you think it is a boxing match then you will post that way. I can be sarcastic and offensive as well. When we have our style in the open it makes for a more respectful, and honest discourse. I am willing to participate in discussion in which we determine that we must agree to disagree.

"And don't forget BANKS. Dividends galore!"

I have limited exposure to banks. They do seem to throw off large profits. I wonder where they come from? <g>

Cholesterol is not a concern of mine. Actually, I am blessed with great health.

"richest people in the world have to earn their living at something..."

I do not begrudge then a fair return on their investments. If a person identifies a profitable niche and exploits it, then consumers benefit from the availability of the service or product that was not previously available. If it is too expensive it will not sell.

Capitalism works well. Other systems are not as efficient.
