Bush-Delay cut levee funding by 85% in 2004. Enough said.
When you make a cut like that despite the FEMA warnings that flooding could be the #1 catastrophe in the country, worse than 9-11, you are obviously asleep at the wheel. Or is somethiong else the matter?

Maybe the funding would have be granted if the black hole called the Iraq War didn't exist, because most of the Army Engineers needed to shore up the levees were overseas anyway. Doing what?

What the hell is half our military and half our security equipment and personnel doing in Iraq? Iraq never attacked us. Iraq only got dangerous after we went there. Iraq has turned out to be an almost completely pointless war. Those dollars to shore the levees went to Iraq. Because Bush-DElay lied to take us to war and failed there.
