Relevant to any situation of human life. That is where our ideas of human ethics differ totally and absolutely. Maybe this difference follows the political party lines? Let me re-phrase...relevant from an ideological point of view, not relevant in the situation as it stood before the war and as it stands today. The fact remains that foreign ideas catalize these otherwise divided people. Islam brings them together against a common enemy. When the enemy is not there, they war on each other...to have as a teacher the history of afghanistan and ignore this reality in iraq is the mark of an incompetent president.
