"Donations Reduce Buffett Tax Bill"

Of course they did... as per usual.

"He has said he supports the death tax."

AND he has repeatedly said that he supports charitable contributions. In fact, a drastic decline in charitable contributions is one 'negative resultant' he predicts in the event estate taxes are ever done away with... that has been one of his MAIN ARGUMENTS for keeping estate taxes. As per usual.

$138 million NOT donated to charity MINUS $95 million in death taxes EQUALS $43 million net to beneficiaries - that is a 68% tax rate (actually its higher because her estate was entitled to other exclusions before calculation).
